Founded in 1993, Turtle Cove Beach Resort is Australia's only Adults Only absolute Beach Front Resort, located at Wangetti, between Port Douglas and Palm Cove, north of Cairns in Far North Queensland Australia.

Due to Government Food Health & Safety requirements we ask that you please wrap yourself in a towel or pop on some swimwear in common cooking facility areas. We have a gymnasium, health spa, library and games room. And, we can even book your tours Dive on the Great Barrier Reef, a Sailing trip to Port Douglas or a tour of the worlds oldest rainforest, the Daintree Rainforest. They're all on our doorstep!

Is there Car Parking at Turtle Cove

There is very limited car parking at Turtle Cove. If you intend to stay at the resort for the entirety of your stay, we recommend one of the following options:

  • UBER
  • Private Transfer with Tranquility Transfers
  • Car Pool with a group of people
  • Private Helicopter 

Are there animals at Turtle Cove and can I swim in the Ocean

Turtle Cove is nestled in amongst the Heritage Protected World Rainforest and from time to time you will see a number of native wildlife spiking their curiousity around the resort. These can include:

  • Butterflies and Moths
  • Birds including our resident peacock Milu, and curlews
  • Insects of many kinds
  • Bugs
  • Spiders and Snakes
  • Dingoes
  • Wallabies

on the rare occasion you might see Dolphins splashing around or the very rare occasion a crocodile transiting past to the calmness of an estuary. 

Jellyfish are present in the ocean throughout the Summer months and swimming is not recommended.
